FFP2 and FFP3: what to compare
The Baltic Masks technical data sheets identify a protection class for each model. BM-001, BM-026, BM-027 and BM-027V are listed as FFP2; BM-031 and BM-031V are listed as FFP3.
Class and valve are different attributes
In this range, the V suffix identifies the valved BM-027V and BM-031V models. The published instructions list BM-027 and BM-031 without a valve. Always identify the complete model name.
Check the model and pack
The number of pieces in a pack is separate from the model specification. Compare unit price and pack size, then check the exact item and batch expiry on the supplied packaging.
Do not assume certification equivalence
Use the standard and class shown in the product’s own documents. An FFP class does not by itself establish a separate NIOSH approval or another certification.
